Playing their first set of games since the Christmas break, the NEBC Yukon Midget Trackers returned home from Edmonton Sunday night with two more wins in their pocket.

The Trackers opened the weekend Friday with a 7-3 win over the Southside Athletic Club.

A different result Saturday, though, as the Trackers fell 4-2 to Sherwood Park, but as they've done all season, were able to rebound in their final game getting by Beaumont 7-5, in a game that saw the Trackers jump out to a 3-0 lead, before teams exchanged goals back and forth.

With two wins and a loss, the Trackers improve to 14-3-3, good for first place and an 11-point advantage on second-place Whitecourt in the Milltech Group Division.

They're home to Peace River Saturday, Jan. 22.
