The Dawson Creek Seals will be front and centre this weekend cheering as loud as they can and swimming as fast as they can as the local summer swim club takes its turn hosting the region's second meet of the season.

NWJHL aiming to increase its profile

The Northwest Junior Hockey League says it has a good product and plans to promote itself more both locally and farther away over the coming years. "I think it's high time. We cover more area than any other league," said NWJHL president Al Spence.

In Tuesday's Senior Girls semifinal games, Lube-X and D. Bauer advanced to the Spring League basketball finals to be played next week. D. Bauer went in ranked number one in their game against the fourth seeded Focus, they took a 36-32 win. D.

Sox drop game in seventh

The Fort St. John Paladin Black Sox took a 6-1 loss to the Rycroft Rage Tuesday night. The two teams were tied 1-1 going into the seventh when the Rage's Jace Zahara started a five-run rally.
