QMJHL Roundup: Bizier collects four points, leads Gatineau Olympiques past Eagles

SYDNEY, N.S. — Mathieu Bizier had two goals and two assists to lead the Gatineau Olympiques past the Cape Breton Eagles 5-2 in QMJHL action Sunday. Bizer's first goal, which came on the power play in the second period, proved to be the winner.

Bizer's first goal, which came on the power play in the second period, proved to be the winner. He added his second of the game in the third.

Tristan Luneau, Cole Cormier and Mikael Martel had the other goals for Gatineau (5-3-3).

Ivan Ivan and Emile Hegarty-Aubin replied for Cape Breton (3-6-4).

SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Ryan Francis' goal at 6:23 of the third period proved to be the winner for the Sea Dogs (5-5-2). Reilly Bezeau, Brady Burns, Evgeny Sapelnikov also scored. Cameron Whynot, Elliot Desnoyers and Markus Vidicek replied for Halifax (6-4-1).

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. – Samuel Johnson and Mathieu Gagnon each scored and added an assist to lead Rouyn-Noranda (6-5-2) to their third victory in four games. Maxime Pellerin scored the lone goal for Victoriaville (5-7-1), which remains last in the Western Conference.
