I've come to a conclusion in recent years: I am an analogue girl in a digital world. I'm not against technology, per se, but it's nice to be able to unplug and walk away from the online world once in awhile.

Buying your first home is fun. In fact, it's a rockin' good time! You are making the jump into responsibility. Most importantly, you're going to stop paying someone else's mortgage and start investing in your own future.

To the Editor: We attended the Feb. 23 presentation in Fort St John by BC Hydro on shoreline instability for the proposed Site C dam reservoir.

I am not a perfectionist. First of all, I just don?t have the patience. I just don?t have the follow through. Second of all, perfection is boring. It?s the unknown that?s the most exciting aspect of life.

To the Editor: In an area as large as our federal Prince George-Peace River riding, it is understandable that most do not know all of the Conservative candidates running in the upcoming by-election, let alone know much about them.

Well, when this gets published my family and all my in-laws are going to have to sit down for this one. I am a city slicker talking about horses..and I can already hear their laughter.

To the Editor: In March, the Federal Conservative Party will select their candidate for our Prince George-Peace River riding. Most believe that whoever wins this nomination will be our next Federal representative and I can't disagree.

With the apparent arena crisis now raging out of control, municipal and provincial governments are consulting their emergency plans for ways to overcome fiscal reality .
