An Alberta mother is making a public plea for help in finding her missing son as it’s believed he may have travelled to B.C.
It’s now been 20 months since Robert Allen Wetsch was last seen and extensive searches and investigations, headed by Hinton RCMP, have come up short in both provinces.
“It is not like him at all to have no contact, so he may not be in a proper state of mind to do so,” explains Wetsch’s mother Bonnie in a news release Jan. 11. “If anything has happened to him, I just want to know any and all information. If anyone knows anything, please reach out so that I can know where my son is.”
Mounties are concerned about Wetsch’s safety and well-being.
Ground and air searches were conducted in June and November 2019 for the 40-year-old and an investigation remains open and ongoing.
