Charlie Lake fire hall news

Charlie Lake firefighters were called out on early Saturday morning.

The department was called out to Lake Shore Road around 4:30 a.m. after a caller noticed the fire as they drove by, according to the regional district.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a brush and wood pile that was burning and being maintained. Eight firefighters responded, along with Engine 1, Squad 1, and Squad 3.

Meanwhile, firefighters were called out to a report of a structure fire on July 29 around 9:43 a.m..

Once on scene, crews determined there was no fire, and inspected the equipment to monitor.

Seventeen firefighters responded, along with Engine 1 and Squad 1.
