Fire destroys RV in Charlie Lake

Two RVs caught fire at the Charlie Lake R.V. and Leisure Trailer Park early Wednesday morning.

Charlie Lake and Fort St. John firefighters were called out at 6:41 a.m. along with police and paramedics, according to the regional district.

"The fire was so intense from the first RV that the radiant heat caused a second unit to catch fire due to its proximity," the regional district wrote in a news release.

"A third RV sustained minor damage to the skirting and discoloration to the siding due to radiant heat."

The fires were extinguished.
