Man killed in motorcycle accident on Highway 29

Fort St. John RCMP are investigating after a 23-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday.

The accident happened sometime between 4 and 6 p.m. on Highway 29, according to RCMP.

The highway is closed in both directions at Bennett Road while the investigation continues.

Few details have been provided by police and it's unclear whether any other vehicles were involved. The man's name was not released. 

Any witnesses who have not spoken with police are asked to call the Fort St. John RCMP detachment at 250-787-8100.
