No injuries in Charlie Lake structure fire

Charlie Lake firefighters responded to a structure fire on Kaps Road on Monday morning.

Thirteen firefighters responded from Charlie Lake, and were assisted by four firefighters from Fort St. John, according to the Peace River Regional District.

Charlie Lake firefighters were paged to the fire within two minutes of the 9-1-1 call, while Fort St. John was paged shortly after for assistance, the regional district says.

The firefighters were on scene for four-and-a-half hours.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
