The advance poll goes today for the Chetwynd Municipal Election until 8pm. There will be another advance day on Wed., Oct. 12 from 8am to 8pm.
Election day is Saturday October 15 from 8am to 8pm with all voting takes place at the Chetwynd District Office on Hospital Road.
Please ensure you bring two pieces of acceptable ID; some of the pieces can be according to the list: (Valid) Driver's Licence, and Credit Card. The District of Chetwynd has a list posted (see the picture), inside the entrance.
The list is shown from outside the polling/voting location. Please allow yourself enough time to vote, as the process to get ballots and then voting concern PRRD items and the Mayor's race, takes approximately 20 minutes on average today.
It was a steady flow of people into the polling place earlier this afternoon.
