Court Docket, June 22-July 3

Sentences and fines handed out in provincial courts June 22 to July 3, 2020:

Fort St. John

• Robert William Kilfoyle (born 1965) was granted a conditional discharge with 12 months of probation, and ordered to pay $900 in restitution for being unlawfully in a dwelling, committed in Fort St. John in July 2018. Kilfoyle was granted a conditional discharge with a 12-month probation order for assault, committed in Fort St. John in July 2018.

• Nicholas Reynolds (born 1998) was sentenced to zero days in jail and given an 18-month probation order for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and was sentenced to zero days in jail for mischief $5,000 or under, both committed in Fort St. John in April 2020. Reynolds was sentenced to zero days in jail on four breaches of probation related to previous assault and uttering threat convictions, committed in Fort St. John in September 2019, October 2019, and April 2020.

• Matthew Russell McCharles-Carter (born 2000) was issued a one-year criminal driving ban and a one-year probation order for impaired driving, committed in Fort St. John in December 2019. McCharles-Carter was also given one year of probation for dangerous operation of a conveyance and for failing to stop, both committed in Fort St. John in December 2019.

• Francois Joseph Paul Davis (born 1970) was fined $500 for driving while prohibited/licence suspended, committed in McLeod Lake in March 2018.

• Roy Anton Oslund (born 1985) was sentenced to 70 days in jail and one year of probation for assault, committed June 10 in Fort St. John.

• Ian Richard Allison (born 1989) was granted a conditional discharge with eight months of probation for assault, committed in February 2019 in Fort St. John.

Dawson Creek

• Jake Dionne (born 1994) was granted a conditional discharge with a one year probation order for assault, and granted a conditional discharge with a one-year probation order for theft under $5,000, both committed in Dawson Creek in June 2019.

• Justin Michael Allarie (born 1997) was handed a 120-day conditional sentence and one year of probation for possession of stolen property under $5,000, committed in September 2019 in Dawson Creek.

• Travis Norman Walker (born 1987) was sentenced to time served with a one-year probation order for uttering threats, committed May 7 in Dawson Creek.
