Sentences and fines from Fort St. John and Dawson Creek provincial courts Sept. 21 to 25, 2020.

Fort St. John

  • Trenton Kelsey Fox (born 1997) was sentenced to zero days, given one year of probation, and ordered to provide a DNA sample for assault with a weapon, committed in Halfway River in October 2019. Fox was sentenced to zero days, handed another year of probation, and a 10-year mandatory firearms bans for arson damaging property, committed in Halfway River in March 2020.

  • Jacqueline Christine Burdock (born 1988) was given a suspended sentence with 18 months of probation for assault and breach of undertaking, committed in Fort St John in April 2018 and June 2018.

  • Natasha Alysia Attachie (born 1992) was granted a conditional discharge with nine months of probation for assault, committed in Fort St John in March 2020.

  • Glen Charles Allen (born 1968) was fined $2,000 and given an 18-month criminal driving ban for impaired driving, committed in Fort St John in May 2018.

  • Cynthia Louise Guyett (born 1953) was fined $1,500 and given a one-year criminal driving ban for impaired driving, committed in Fort St John in April 2020.

  • Michael Wray Harrison (born 1983) was fined $2,000 and ordered to pay a $300 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention, committed in Fort St John in July 2020.

  • John Michael Sammon (born 1970) was fined $1,500, issued a three-month criminal driving ban, and assessed a $225 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention, committed in Charlie Lake in September 2019.

  • Lance Thomas Yandeau (born 1960) was fined $300 and assessed a $90 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention, committed in Fort St John in October 2018.

  • Wade Victor Nobbs (born 1972) was fined $75 and ordered to pay an $11.25 victim surcharge for driving without a licence, committed in Fort St John in October 2018.

  • Steven Phillip Ghostkeeper (born 1974) was sentenced to two days jail for breaching probation in Fort St. John in June and July 2020.

Dawson Creek

  • Bradley Blake (born 1976) was sentenced to 54 days in jail with 18 months of probation, and issued a 10-year mandatory firearms ban for breaching probation, possession of a firearm contrary to court order, and possession of stolen property over $5,000, committed in Dawson Creek in August 2020.

  • Darcy Dale Stewart (born 1989) was given a suspended sentence with 12 months probation for possession of a controlled substance, committed in Chetwynd in July 2019.

  • Jared Edward Marks (born 1986) was fined $1,000 for driving without a licence, committed in October 2019 in Dawson Creek.

  • Coty Steven Auger (born 1988) was fined $300 and ordered to forfeit his firearm for possession of a firearm without licence or registration, committed in Tumbler Ridge in April 2019.
