Vehicle access to the Muska River Bridge and Sierra-Yoyo-Desan Road near Fort Nelson was restored Tuesday.
A 33-year-old woman remains missing after four people were stranded in their vehicles when water broke through ice dams and flooded the shore on April 22. Dayna Lee-Ann Cheyenne West was last seen wearing a black vest, orange shirt, blue jeans and dark knee high boots.
An air search on April 23 found the vehicle West rode in, but search and rescue crews could not find West after a nearly eight-hour search of the Muskwa River by jet boat on April 25.
All vehicles involved with the April 22 incident have now been removed from the river area, the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality said in a May 5 update.
River levels continue to be impacted by melting snow pack, and people are urged to be cautious.
"There is potential for rapid water level changes and ice to be present and moving down the rivers,” the municipality said.
