Dawson Creek and the Peace region is featured in the latest Huey Lewis & The News video.
'I Am There For You', is a collaboration from around the world and has Dawson Creek footage.
Dawson Creek Mirror managing editor Rob Brown and his daughter are featured in the four minute video clip.
"When the pandemic first hit, Huey Lewis & The News were one of the first to be reaching out in new forms of social media. So when Huey and the rest of the band put out a call for submissions from front line and essential workers, of course I thought the fit was natural for the Mirror," says Brown.
"Us mailing some News in to Huey we just thought was great. I'm glad to see they agreed."
Huey Lewis & The News has a string of 19 top ten hits and has sold more than 30 million records - their most popular album Sports, has sold more than 10 million copies. The band has been nominated for an Oscar for 'The Power of Love' from Back to the Future. The band crafted the title track to the film Pineapple Express, and their latest album Weather was released in February of this year. The band has been on hiatus for two years since Lewis has been diagnosed with Ménière's disease.
