Cat rescue raising funds

The North Peace Forgotten Felines Society has launched its ‘Holding on to Hope’ campaign, and is looking to launch a pet pantry after receiving an anonymous donation of 1,000 pounds of cat food.

Five-pound bags of cat food are being sold for a minimum $5 donation to the rescue organization, with a goal of $1,000.

Fifty bags have already been donated to the Friends of Hudson’s Hope Food Bank, and another have 52 sold, generating $260 for animals in need.
