The three men who died in a vehicle accident near Hudson’s Hope on New Year’s Eve have been identified. Ian Roelofsen, age 41, from Coaldale, Alberta, Michael Savignac, age 28, from Beaumont, Alberta and Christopher Shepherd, age 25, from Devon, Alberta, were killed thirty minutes before 2015, the BC Coroners Service said.
Roelofson was driving the two passengers in a pickup truck southbound on Farrell Creek Road just outside of Hudson’s Hope. The vehicle went off the road, and all three men were deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service, WorkSafe BC and the RCMP are still investigating the accident.
