The District of Hudson’s Hope has earmarked $18,000 this year to begin plans for the repair of MacDougall Street. The repairs will extend from Dudley Drive to Paquette Avenue.

Hudson’s Hope plans to beef up its $2-million cybersecurity insurance plan. The addition of new virtual protections was prompted by the Jan. 10 ransomware attack on the City of Dawson Creek, CAO Chris Cvik said.

Areas of Lynx Creek will soon be closed to boaters and the public as Highway 29 realignment construction ramps up, BC Hydro says. The boat launch at Lynx Creek will be periodically closed from mid-February until March 31, 2020.

Weekend swim, you in? Hudson's Hope hosts its first ever Polar Plunge Saturday afternoon at Lynx Creek in support of the food bank. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. at the boat launch. The plunge will take place at 1:15 p.m.

The Hudson’s Hope RCMP responded to 34 calls for service between Dec. 15, 2019, and Jan. 15, 2020.
