One dead in accident on Prespatou Road

Fort St. John RCMP haa released more information regarding the single vehicle accident on Prespatou Road this morning.

Police received reports of the accident at 11:45 a.m. Upon arrival at the scene,

Members found a pickup truck in the West ditch with three men inside.

The 49 year old driver was flown to Grande Prairie Hospital with critical injuries. A 44 year old man was transported to Fort St.John Hospital with serious injuries.

The third passenger, whose age in unknown to RCMP at the time the information was released, was dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident is undetermined at this time. The Prespatou Road near the 262 Road will remain closed while police investigate the incident.
