Nearly 1,500 advance votes cast in Peace River ridings

Nearly 1,500 voters cast a ballot on the first day of advance voting in Peace River North and South.

The agency says 1,047 votes we cast in Peace River North, with 442 votes in Peace River South.

Across B.C., 104,937 voters cast advance votes on Oct. 15, Elections BC says. In 2017, 122,465 voters voted on the first day of advance voting.

In Peace River North, advance voters can cast a ballot at:

  • North Peace Arena in Fort St. John, open until Oct. 21.

  • Northern Lamplighters Activity Centre in Fort Nelson, open until Oct. 18.

  • Pearkes Centre in Hudson’s Hope, open until Oct. 18.

  • Community Hall in Taylor, open until Oct. 17.


Advance voting stations are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
