Peace River Regional District hires new development services manager

The Peace River Regional District has hired Kevan Sumner as its new general manager of development services.

Sumner starts workon Sept. 3, and comes "with a breadth of knowledge and experience," the regional district said in an announcement.

Sumner will be responsible for managing development matters across the region, including long-range planning, building inspection, and bylaw enforcement.

"Kevan has 18 years of professional experience that include six years as a policy analyst and more than twelve years of planning experience with municipalities, planning districts, and developers," it said.
