BC Hydro says it hopes to have power restored to Cecil Lake and Goodlow by Thursday evening.
A landslide knocked out power to some 100 households in the area on Monday after damaging transmission lines. Crews are on site making repairs the poles and power lines, and are making good progress, the utility says.
"Before power can be restored, crews will need to replace multiple poles," spokesman Dave Conway said.
"Because the area is very soft, we have to use specialized tracked equipment. Rubber tire vehicles cannot access the repair site."
