School buses cancelled due to extreme cold

School buses in School District 60 have been cancelled Monday due to extreme cold.

The cancellations affect all routes for Feb. 4. Schools remain open.

The region is under an extreme cold warning thanks to a blast of cold Arctic air.

Temperatures are expected to reach a balmy high of -29 C on Monday, with windchills hovering between -38 and -43 C.
