Shaw customers in Fort St John experienced a widespread outage Monday, which the company says has now been fixed.
The outage began around 11 a.m. affecting internet, phones, and home TV services. Crews spent the afternoon repairing fibre cables, and the company said Tuesday morning that services in the North Peace have been brought back online.
It's not known what caused the outage.
Nick Poirer, director of media relations, said Shaw does not disclose reasons for outages, but is happy to give updates on repairs.
