South Taylor Tervita facility closed after fire

A fire broke out Wednesday afternoon around 2 p.m. at Tervita's South Taylor facility. 

Spokesperson Kelly Samson says no one was injured the cause is still being investigated.

"We are currently coordinating with the appropriate authorities and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Our facility is currently closed," wrote Samson by email.

It's not known how long the facility will remain closed. 

The fire occurred outside of Taylor's fire protection zone.
