Two people killed in Alaska Highway crash

Two people were killed and two others were seriously injured Saturday, December 14 when a pickup truck was struck by a semi truck on the Alaska Highway.

The collision happened near Buick, and the investigation continues. Impairment is not considered to be a factor, RCMP said.

Two occupants of the pickup truck were pronounced dead at the scene. Two others in the truck were taken to hospital with serious injuries, RCMP said.

The drive of the semi truck reported no injuries.

The names of the victims were not released.
