Site C shuttle suspended

BC Hydro says it is temporarily suspending the Site C shuttle service between Two Rivers Lodge and Fort St. John effective today.

"We have been closely monitoring the use of the shuttle since we began scaling back certain construction activities at site on March 18," BC Hydro said. "Since that time, we’ve observed a steady decline in shuttle ridership, corresponding with the reduction in the number of workers staying in the lodge.

"We will make alternative arrangements (such as ordering and delivery) to accommodate workers who need to re-provision personal items while the service is suspended."
