1st Annual Peace Auto Fest to bring cruisers and autocross together

If you like checking out classic cars, and watching people drive an autocross track, then the 1st Annual Peace Auto Fest is the event for you. Peace Auto Fest will run Saturday, September 7 at the South Taylor Chain Up. 

The Fort St. John Classic Cruisers and the Peace Region Motorsports Association are coming together for the event. Autocross will kick things off, beginning at 9 a.m., and going until 3 p.m. Anyone is welcome to race their car, provided they pay a registration fee and have a helmet. Passenger ride alongs will be available for free as well.

Beginning at 12 p.m. at the neighbouring parking lot is the Cruisers Show and Shine. Registration is free of charge and the cars will be displayed until 4 p.m., when prizes will be awarded. 

There will be food vendors present at well, and it's sure to be a fun, original experience for car enthusiasts.
