Engage Sport North, North Peace Eagles hosting women's hockey try-it sessions

Are you a woman looking to get back into hockey, or wanting to see what the sport is all about? Engage Sport North, together with the North Peace Eagles women's hockey team are hosting two free try-it sessions the next two weeks at the Pomeroy Sport Centre. 

The sessions will run the next two Mondays, August 19 and 26, from 8:15 to 9:30 p.m. Players must have skates, hockey gloves and a caged helmet, and some equipment will be available to borrow on a first come, first serve basis.

The sessions will focus on shooting, skating and passing, and is open to anyone age 16 and older.
