Ethan Seminiuk is officially a Vancouver Giant. The Delta Hockey Academy forward signed his WHL Standard Player Agreement on Monday, May 4.
Semeniuk grew up playing hockey in Fort St. John. He was drafted 56th overall by the Giants in the third round of the 2020 WHL Draft, after scoring 50 points in 30 games with Delta this season.
The Giants were having an OK season before the WHL 2019-20 season was cancelled. The team was third in the B.C. Division with a 32-24-6 record and 70 points, and had qualified for the playoffs.
Semeniuk's signing comes four days after his cousin and Delta teammate Caden Brown (taken 17th overall) signed his WHL Standard Player Agreement with the Prince George Cougars.
