After a year's break from hosting events, Justin Donally and Fivestar Boxing Academy will be back with Fight Night 24, on May 2. This will be the first event at the Lido Theatre for Fivestar, after it hosted a series of events at a different location. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the fights starting at 7 p.m.
Fivestar hasn't put on an event since last April's Fight Night 23: Fight for Alaya. It's an event sure to be met with lots of excitement, not only because it will be the first chance to watch boxing in Fort St. John in a year, but also because of the unique intimate setting that the Lido affords.
The front row seats will be removed to make room for the ring, with special seating reserved on the stage. Fans sitting in the rest of the theatre will be slightly above the ring, with a great view to look down on the action.
The Fivestar Boxing Academy was recently in Richmond for the Boxing B.C. Championships. Landon Beasley advanced to nationals, while Brayden Sims and Nick Young are still trying to earn their spot. All three are likely to fight in May.
More to come.
