Florian and Kade Schwarz compete in Best in the Desert Parker 250 endurance race

Florian and Kade Schwarz were in Parker, Arizona last weekend for the 2020 Best in the Desert Parker 250 endurance motorbike race. The Parker is part of a series of endurance races, and is 180 miles long. Competing in the Ironman Amateur Class, Florian (Kade's father) finished second of 16 racers, while Kade finished 9th. Kade was the youngest of the 16 racers in his division.

The race took place in the desert and surrounding area of Parker, Arizona, along a variety of terrain, including rock gardens, sand beds, and extensive hills.

Though this was Kade's first race of this kind, Florian has been competing in these raes for the last several years. In November, he competed in the SCORE Baja 1000 in Ensenada, Mexico. Florian finished fourth in the 1000 mile race, finishing in 32 hours, with a total of 12 minutes spent off the bike.
