Fort St. John Huskies blow out Fairview Flyers 10-2

The Fort St. John Huskies beat the Fairview Flyers with ease Saturday, 10-2. The Huskies controlled the game from the start, and had no problems on the way to securing their ninth straight win. 

The Huskies had a 40-12 lead in shots late in the third period. Goalie Braedyn Funke got the win for Fort St. John in his first game back from a long layoff with a hand injury.

Fort St. John, with a record of 24-4-2 and 50 points, now has a 12-point lead over the second-place Dawson Creek Canucks, who jumped the North Peace Navigators with a win last night. The Huskies host the Navs tonight at 5 p.m.
