Fort St. John Intercity bowling teams selected

The Fort St. John team for the 54th annual Peace Region Intercity Tournament has been selected, after an all-day roll-off on Sunday, January 18. The top men and women were chosen based off their 10-game average, to make up the mens, womens and mixed teams.

The tournament itself well be held in Fort St. John as well, for the first time in five years. The tournament will welcomes bowlers from Fairview, Dawson Creek, Prince George, and Grande Prairie from Friday, February 28 to Sunday, March 1.

The Intercity starts at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28,,and 7 a.m. on Saturday, with a dance and banquet held Saturday night. The finals will begin around 12 p.m. on the Sunday.

Jeremy Clothier had the best average on the day at 230, while Morgan Boswell had the top women’s average, and second best overall, at 222.
