After an almost two-week break for the first round of the NWJHL playoffs, the Huskies will hit the ice on Saturday, February 29 at the North Peace Arena in Fort St. John to take on the Fairview Flyers in a best-of-seven game semi-final series. All games will start at 8 p.m.
The Flyers finished the season in fourth place. Though they trailed the County of Grande Prairie Kings 2-1 in their best-of-five series on two overtime losses, the Flyers rebounded with back-to-back blowout wins (5-1 in Game 4 and 9-5 in Game 5) to advance for a matchup with Fort St. John.
The winner of the series will face the winner of the other semi-final between the North Peace Navigators and Dawson Creek Canucks in the final.
Here is the series schedule. Games 5 through 7 will be held if necessary.
