Geoff Dick committs to playing for Dakota College

Former Fort St. John Huskies forward Geoff Dick has ommitted to play for the Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks, an ACHA Division II team in Bottineau, North Dakota.

Dick spent parts of four seasons with the Huskies. He was a big part of the teams that won back to back NWJHL championships in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, before being traded to the County of Grande Prairie Kings early in the 2019-20 season.

Dick had a career-high 38 points in 35 games in 2017-18, and added 14 points in nine playoff games that year as well.

He had 30 goals, 55 assists, and 85 points in 103 total regular season games for the Huskies. He finished the season with the Kings strong last year, scoring 24 points in 20 games.

Dick marks the seventh Huskies player to continue his hockey career at a further junior or collegiate level in the last three years.

Former teammates Jeridyn Loewen and Braedyn Funke also committed to college teams earlier this offseason.
