The NWJHL season is in full swing, and the Fort St. John Huskies are hard at work trying to defend their championship. Each week we'll talk to a different Huskies player, about themselves as a player, where they're from and the current Huskies season.

2018 stats: 4 GP, 2 G, 2 A, 4 P

Awards: 2017-18 NWJHL Defenceman of the Year, 2017-18 Huskies Defenceman of the Year

On the team’s first win: “It was a relief, for sure. Now that we have the first win out of the way we’ll keep rolling from here.”

On the Huskies confidence level: “It’s very high. The room felt different this weekend, everyone comes prepared to play, and our new guys are settling in and becoming easier to play with.”

On his game-tying last-minute goal against Fairview: “There was lots of traffic, I saw a little hole to shoot at and luckily it found the back of the net.”
