Jeffers off to volleyball nationals

After a long series of tryouts and competitions, Fort St. John athlete Daelyn Jeffers is off to the National Team Challenge Cup (NTCC), representing Team B.C. in Richmond, B.C., July 20 to 23. 

Jeffers plays for the Fort St. John Ice Volleyball Club. Her journey to the NTCC began with the Baden Cup tryouts in Prince George. After being selected to move on to the Baden Cup Camp in Kelowna, she joined the top 60 U16 female volleyball players from the province to participate in the Baden Cup.

Jeffers was one of 24 players and six alternates selected to make up Team B.C.
