The 3rd Annual Kick' It With Friends Charity Soccer Tournament took place last weekend, May 24 and 25. This year, the money raised is going towards Constable Tony Brooks and his family to help with his fight against stage 2 testicular cancer, and the cost of his travel back and forth to Prince George for treatment.
The exact number of money raised isn't yet known, but tournament organizer Amy Titley is expecting a total of around $6,000.
The highlight of the tournament was a fun exhibition match between the local RCMP and fire departments.
