Kids Kin Curl cancelled this weekend

The familiar sights and sounds of the annual Kids Kin Curl Jam-Can event will be missing in Fort St. John this year, after the Kin Club announced they were cancelling the event for 2020. The event was set to be held at the Fort St. John Curling Club on Saturday, March 14.

"We feel with the current potential of health issues taking place worldwide, it is in everyone’s best interest. We apologize for the cancellation and look forward to twice the fun next year," representatives of the Kin Club said on their Facebook Page.

The Kin Club is planning on holding their 40th annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 11.

This was the final bonspiel scheduled for the Fort St. John Curling Club. Next week the men's and mixed leagues will have their wrap-ups (on March 18 and 19, respectively), with the ice being taken out at the end of the week.
