Mighty Peace Pro Am tees off today

Kevin Stinson is looking to win his third straight Mighty Peace Brewing Company Pro Am this weekend at Lakepoint Golf and Country Club. The tournament, which teed off for the first round at 11 a.m. this morning, is the final major of the year for the Vancouver Golf Tour. 

18 tour members are vying for the title, including local pro Larry Ramstad. Each pro is paired with a team of amateurs. Charitable proceeds will go back into the community.

The first round was originally set to start at 9 a.m. today, but was pushed back due to weather. The pro am will conclude with the second round tomorrow, August 9.
