North Peace District 4H Report

As we enjoy the longer days and look forward to warmer weather, the members of the North Peace District 4H are all working hard on this year’s projects.

With families practicing social distancing, there’s even more time to work with them. Provincial 4H has asked us to cancel all club and district activities but we are still staying in touch with each other and coming up with some great ways to keep everyone involved in various 4H activities.

District communications were held March 6 at the Northern Lights College. All participating members did a fantastic job at their choice of presentation. A big thank you to all our judges who volunteered their time and support 4H.

Raelle Amboe and Lacey Weibe took the top spots for Senior Speeches. Maria Hansen and Kaylee Wiebe had the top Junior Speeches. Haley Loewen and Jessica Weibe, Liam Koop and Josiah Koop were the top two Senior Demonstrations.

The top two Junior Speak and Shows were Katelynn Beukert and Harlan Giesbrecht, with Kendra Gilbert taking the top spot as a Senior. Josiah Koop and Melissa Dyck were the top two Senior Educational Displays and Sariya Weibe and Sydney Loewen the top two juniors. Congratulations to you all!

Don’t forget to wash your hands!
