NPSS girls volleyball provincials: Day One recap

The NPSS Grizzlies are back on the court in Langley today for the second day of the 2019 B.C. Secondary 4A Girls Volleyball Provincials. They played Elgin Park (2-1) this morning, in the first placement game of the tournament for the Grizzlies. Depending on the result, they could be back in action tonight.

Pool play was completed yesterday, and NPSS had a tough time against some great teams. The Grizzlies lost in two sets to Claremont to start the tournament (25-17, 25-14), and then played Kelowna, losing 2-0 as well (25-10, 25-18). The girls had a strong second set in that match, and it paved the way for their best set of the day in their third match.

The Grizzlies lost 2-0 again to Seaquam (25-11, 25-20) but did put up 20 points in the second set.
