Random Acts of Recreation goes Saturday in Fort St. John

The City of Fort St. John is hosting Random Acts of Recreation on Saturday, May 11. From 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., various recreation and leisure activities will be available to the public in exchange for a non-perishable food item to be donated to the food bank or Women's Resource Society.

Below are the events available and times for each one:

9 - 9:50 a.m. — 70s Step Class (Beginner Level) at Worlds Gym

9:15 - 10:15 a.m. — Open Gym at North Peace Gymnastics Association

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. — Various sports (tennis, croquet, basketball). Equipment to be rented out at Pomeroy Sport Centre. 

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. — Outdoor Volleyball Nets at Surerus Park and Matthews Park (free)

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. — Badminton and Pickleball at Pomeroy Sport Centre

12 - 3 p.m. — Disc Golf at Kin Park Course (free)

3 - 4 p.m. — Break Dancing at Pomeroy Sport Centre Studio

3 - 5 p.m. — Bowling at Fort Bowling Lanes

4 - 5 p.m. — Country Dance at Pomeroy Sport Centre Studio
