River Rats celebrate completed playground

With all the fundraising completed and equipment bought, the Peace Country River Rats came together over the weekend to build the new playground at Peace Island Park.

From October 16 to 19, volunteers came together to work on the project near the new Pavilion, ending with a ribbon-cutting celebration on Monday night.

The River Rats thank Andrew Burrows for organizing the project and thank all the people who helped along the way.
