SCOREBOARD: Fort St. John Huskies 5, Sexsmith Vipers 2

The Fort St. John Huskies dominated each facet of the game last night, beating the Vipers in Sexsmith 5-2. With the win, the Huskies move to 12-6-1, and with 25 points, are just one point back of the North Peace Navigators and three back of the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks. However, Fort St. John has two games in hand on Dawson Creek.

The Huskies led 4-0 after two periods, controlling the game every step of the way, thanks in part to Aiden Craig-Steele's hat trick. The team allowed more shots than they usually do, but Jonathan Bateman was terrific in goal, stopping 35 of the 37 pucks he faced.
