SCOREBOARD: Fort St. John Huskies 6, North Peace Navigators 2

The Fort St. John Huskies went to Peace River last night and got a huge 6-2 win over the Navigators. The Navs had been closing in on the Huskies for first place in the NWJHL, but with two wins this week, Fort St. John has increased their lead to five points, with another big game against the Navigators at 3:30 p.m. today. 

The Huskies outshot the Navs 48-20, overwhelming them in the offensive zone, while Tyler McArthur once again held down the fort in net making 18 saves for the win. On the scoresheet, the Huskies were led by three players a bit further down in the lineup — Joel Bourgeois (two goals, one assist), Nils Nemec (two goals, one assist), and Nick Loewen (one goal, two assists) each had three points for the Huskies.
