SCOREBOARD: Fort St. John Huskies 9, Dawson Creek Junior Canucks 4

The Fort St. John Huskies drove down to Dawson Creek last night for their first of three games this week. The Huskies fell behind 3-1 in the first period, but they scored two goals in the last five minutes to tie the game. 

The Canucks scored just over a minute into the second period to re-take the lead, but the Huskies tied it up a minute later and controlled the game from there, going on to score five goals, and chase Dawson Creek goalie Conor Webb in a 9-4 win.

The star of the game was unquestionably Brady Marzocco, with four goals and one assist. He scored in each period and was a presence the full 60 minutes. Alex Nimmo came up big as well with one goal and four assists, while NWJHL leading scorer Gary Loewen added to his total with one goal and two assists. 

Tyler McArthur had one of his busier games of the year, facing 31 shots, but won the game comfortably. 

The Huskies host the Fairview Flyers on Saturday, January 18, at 8 p.m., for their next game.
