Stingrays host 130 swimmers at Invitational Swim Meet

The Fort St. John Stingrays, the longest running swim club in Fort St. John, held their annual Stingrays Invitational Swim Meet this past weekend. Six clubs attended the meet from the Cariboo Region, including Quesnel Aquatic Club, Vanderhoof- Nechako Otters, Prince George Pisces, Mackenzie Rainbows, Dawson Creek Seals and FSJ Stingrays, with over 130 athletes aged 5 to 55 years old attended the meet.

Provincial qualifying times and best times were achieved by many of the athletes. Over 30 swimmers from FSJ successfully swam the scheduled events with over half of the families competing for the first time.
