Respect COVID-19 rules this weekend, Northern Health asks

Northern Health staff and doctors are reminding local residents to follow the new provincial health orders and guidelines as the number of people who have COVID-19 continues to grow.

There are more cases and groups of cases and increasing numbers of those people who must be hospitalized because of the severity of their symptoms.

The North is not exempt from the increase in COVID-19 activity and Northern Health is asking people to follow the rules to limit the spread of the virus.

These include (but are not limited to):

* No social gatherings of any size

* Wearing a mask in indoor public spaces

* No non-essential travel

* Staying home if you are sick
