U17 preliminary round kicks off in DC Sunday afternoon

Black and White Canadian teams will face off, and captains announced.

It is an Oh Canada! affair this afternoon as the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge puck drops on prelim competition today in the Mile 0 City. Canada plays with itself, as teams Black and White face-off.

Face-off for game one of the preliminary round of the tournament goes in Dawson Creek at 2:30pm. See much of Canada’s leadership for the tournament take to the ice as players wearing the Cs and As for the nation at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge are, for Canada Black, captain Sasha Mutala, and assistants Alex Newhook and Matthew Robertson. For Canada White, the C shield belongs to Braden Schneider, with Harrison Blaisdell and Jakob Pelletier as assistants.For Canada Red it’s Peyton Krebs wearing the C, with ass. badges going to Bowen Byram and Xavier Simoneau.
